Shipping Info & Policies

LEAD TIMES:

Our pieces are made to order. Lead times are projections at the time of purchase and can vary depending on the volume of orders that come in near the time of your order. If any delays arise, we will notify you prior to your completion date with an updated projection for completion. Current lead times:

Small Items such as Cutting Boards, Charcuterie and ServingTrays - 2-4 weeks if not already in stock. Items will ship the next business day if available and in inventory. Please add 1 week if you added custom engraving.

Small-Tables (end, coffee, consoles) - 4-6 weeks

Stools & Benches (without drawers) - 4-6 weeks

Standard Dining/Pub Tables, & Desks (without drawers) - 6-8 weeks

Trestle, Timber Frame, Pedestal Dining Tables & Chairs - 14-16 weeks

Media Consoles, Buffets, Desks (with drawers), Benches (with drawers) - 14-16 weeks

APPROVAL PROCESS:

We send photos of each piece prior to shipping for approval. We do not ship pieces without approval to ensure any finish adjustments can be made prior to shipping. Once approved, no further finish adjustments will be made.

SHIPPING DETAILS:

Smaller items will have their shipping costs calculated upon check-out. Items will be shipped by UPS, or can be picked up at our location. Any shipping fees calculated at check-out will be refunded if local pickup is done. Please contact us after ordering if you want to pick up your items in person.

Larger Furniture items will ship via freight due to their size and weight:

Curbside Freight (3-5 days): Once picked up, we will send you tracking details. The freight company will contact you when your order is in your area to setup the final delivery. The order will be delivered to the end of your driveway and the driver will not help bring it into your home. Be sure to inspect the shipment for any damage. If there is significant damage to the crate, reject the shipment and contact us right away. Any damage claims after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES:

You will be responsible for extra shipping fees if your delivery address is:

Outside of the Contiguous United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico)

Classified by the carrier as remote

We will contact you prior to shipping if any additional fees will be expected.

LOCAL DELIVERY:

We offer free personal delivery for customers within 20 miles of our location. For deliveries, we send one driver so your assistance will be required to get your order in to your home. Our driver will help with assembly. Please contact us if you want personal delivery and we’ll refund any shipping costs you are charged upon ordering.

RETURN POLICY:

Windy City Woodcraft accepts returns on all non-engraved items within 10 days of purchase. Buyer is liable for all shipping costs incurred by returning the item.

Refunds will be processed once the returned item is received as long as it is in the condition it was shipped.

CANCELLATIONS:

Buyer has 24 hours to cancel an order. After 24 hours a cancelation fee will apply based on any cost incurred by Windy City Woodcraft due to cancelation of order.
